Giveaway – 20 self-guided city walk apps

If summer is about beaches, winter seems to be about cities. Not only am I just back from a city break in Ljubljana and co-hosting a new linky on city-based travel from next week, I’ve got a city-related giveaway.

The apps from GPSmyCity feature self-guided city walks in over 470 cities around the world, with at least a few different tours up to more than a dozen routes each.

New York city skyline lit up at nightAnd I’ve got 20 promo codes to give away, normally £3.99 each, which you could use in cities from Brighton and Budapest to Bangkok.

The data is built in so you don’t need internet access or endure stratospheric roaming charges while you’re away either.

With Copenhagen, Paris, Glasgow and Amsterdam under her miniature belt, not to mention London, my travels with Minnie prove there’s no reason having kids needs to stop you from taking a city break either.

In fact, with some fantastic zoos, museums and attractions to explore, we’ve had some great trips away together – and given the chance, we’d have fitted quite a few more in. My all-time favourite cities of Lisbon and Istanbul are definitely on our bucket list too…

The promo codes can only be used on iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) – sorry Android users, this time practicalities mean Apple only.

EDIT: The competition is now closed – congratulations to the winners, I’ll be in touch!
