Surviving a long-haul flight with a baby
So far, Minnie and I haven’t flown outside Europe – even if we headed to one of the furthest-flung corners. But one day, I’d like to hope we’ll venture further afield.
I’d even like to hope that we’ll both emerge reasonably unscathed (as will the other passengers on the plane, obviously).
So I’m making a note of a few of the great tips in this post from Gammon And Chips – especially how to deal with huge timezone changes and get some sleep…

Wow – thanks so much for the link Mummytravels! Much appreciated. I hope you find the tips useful when you do get to fly further afield with Minnie. Great blog by the way! Cheers, Maddie

Hello;
I traveled with my family with US airways and instead of a bassinet I usually had they gave me a shoe box like with No mattress! have you ever hear / experienced this? I complained about it and had almost no answer….
I love traveling with my family, but this I though was really weird.
What do you think?
PS: apart from that long haul was not Bad, isaac was 14 month, he slept most of the time on way back. On way in much difficult as he was awake. I think traveling with Babies is OK it becomes much more difficult when they are 2 or 3 years old and move around!
Thanks
Eric
